Mihyun Kim holds a Bachelor Degree from Seoul National University, and a Master of Music Degree from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University.  She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Oregon, where she studies with Dean Kramer and holds a Graduate Teaching Fellowship.  She has served on the faculty of Busan Arts Middle and High Schools in South Korea and on the faculty at Dongeui University. 

Ms. Kim has performed widely in Korea and Oregon and at the Aspen Music Festival, as well as the Sommeracademie  Mozarteum.
