Taiwanese pianist Wen-Yin Chan has performed throughout the United States and abroad, including such venues as Carnegie Hall and the Taiwan National Recital Hall.  She has won numerous national and international prizes, including 1st Prize at the Taiwan National Music Competition at 14, and a year later, 2nd Prize at the Taipei Chopin Piano Competition. 

She received a special prize from the Moscow International Chopin Piano Competition for Young Artists, after which she was invited to perform at the Polish Embassy in Moscow.  Ms. Chan began playing the piano at age four.  After graduating from the Curtis Institute of Music, where she worked with pianist Peter Serkin, she continued her studies under the tutelage of Claude Frank at Yale University.  She is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Yale University.
