A protege of the eminent Greek pianist Gina Bachauer and a pupil of the distinguished Hungarian pianist Ilona Kabos - she was a top prize winner in the Busoni International Piano Competition, and soon after shared the Piano Prize of the Harriet Cohen International Music Awards with Vladimir Ashkenazi.

She teaches at the Royal Northern College of Music, is Artistic Director of London Master Classes and also gives master classes throughout the world.
