• Join us as we honor VIRGINIA WARING AT THE 28th Annual Black and White Gala with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Also being honored is Marta Casals Istomin with the Distinguished Arts Award.

  Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012 at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage - $300 per person, Black Tie.includes hosted cocktail reception, 3 course gourmet dinner, dancing and a short classical music program by 2011 winners Alison To (age 12) and Zihui Song (age 16).  2012 Event Chair is Rev. Patty Spicer; Honorary Chair is Gary Hall with Wells Fargo - the Private Bank.

Help nurture the career paths of gifted young pianists from around the world and bring great classical music to the Desert and expose children of the Coachella Valley to world class music!

There are many ways to get involved, and enjoy and meet wonderful young pianists along the way:

• Become a member of The Key Players - memberships start at $45 per year.  You will receive information on all VWIPC events and happenings and can choose to receive material by US Mail and / or email.

Volunteer opportunities include contestant housing, transportation, office help, Community Outreach or CREATE YOUR OWN
