The 2009 Senior Competition (for ages 18-35) will be held from March 28 - April 5, 2009.

APPLICATION DEADLINE will be October 15, 2008.

The application is now available! 

There will be at least $30,000 in prizes plus at least three performance opportunities. 

Contestants will participate in Solo,  Concerto and  new Piano Quintet round. Special performance prize for Best Performance of an Ernst Krenek piece.

Master Classes will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009.

All events between March 28 and April 4, 2009 will be held at  the Palm Desert Campus (37-500 Cook Street at Gerald Ford in Palm Desert) of California State University, San Bernardino.  Please go to http://pdc.csusb.edu/ and click on "public events" and then "campus map" for directions to the campus. 

Concerto Finals with orchestra will be held at the McCallum Theatre on April 5, 2009.

All the competition rounds through April 3, 2009 will be in the Indian Wells Theater.  COMPLIMENTARY PARKING FOR THIS WEEK ONLY.   There is handicapped parking near the Rogers Gateway Building and near the south entrance to the Indian Wells Theater.

Most events are free and open to the public - no tickets needed, except for the Solo Finals' concert on April 3 and the concert at the McCallum on April 5, 2009.
