COMPETITION DIVISIONS

THE VIRGINIA WARING INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION  sponsors three competition divisions: Junior (pianists through age 12); Intermediate (pianists ages 13 through 17); and Senior (pianists ages 18 through 35).  Eligibility is determined by age on the first day of the Competition.

The Competition is held biennially with the Junior and Intermediate Competitions scheduled for March 2011 and the Senior Competition scheduled for 2013.
