Hyeyeon Jung, born in Seoul, Korea, earned the Master of Music degree from Cleveland Institute of Music.  She began studying piano at age seven and since then has placed in various competitions in Korea.  Ms. Jung has also been featured as a soloist with the Korean Philharmonic Orchestra, Sunwha Symphony Orchestra, and Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra. 

She has been invited to several music festivals including Sydney, Salzburg, Bowdoin, and Kent/Blossom where she was active in chamber music.  She was recently named the recipient of the Dr. Joseph and Bess Scharff Leven Prize in Piano at Cleveland Institute of Music.  She has studied with Robert McDonald, John Perry, Sergei Babayan, Ann Schein and Jerome Lowenthal.
