Gallagher, Kimball »


Kimball Gallagher made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2008 at Weill Recital Hall and has performed at many other venues in New York and New England.  He has also appeared with the Shepherd School Symphony in Houston.  Mr. Gallagher was the recipient of a top prize at the Corpus Christi International Piano Competition and was a finalist in the Washington International Competition and the Juilliard Concerto Competition.  He was a Tanglewood Fellow in 2004.  His principal teachers include Joseph Smith, Robert McDonald, Jeanne Kierman Fisher and Jonathan Biss.  He is a graduate of Rice University with a Bachelor of Music degree and The Juilliard School with a Master of Music degree.
