2009 Winners »

The 2009 Senior Competition (for ages 18-35) was  held from March 28 - April 5, 2009.

And....the 2009 awards go to......( in alphabetical order)

# 66 - Miao Hou of China - 1st Place Concerto, 2nd Place (tie) Solo, Birer Chamber Music Prize

# 12 - Stanislav Khristenko of Ukraine - 1st Place Solo, Krenek Prize, 2nd Place Concerto

# 36 - Chie Watanabe, 2nd Place (tie) Solo, 3rd Place Concerto

All the contestants were amazing pianists and the Competition wishes it could give prizes to each and every one.  Please check out all the contestants' bios...and look to support the performing arts whenever and wherever you can. After all, it's the arts that reflect the true soul of a civilization.
